The avs tend to not support and protect their star players. Lots of players take liberties with mackinnon/makar and it usually doesn't bring any response from avs players.

So the Avs guy makes a dirty hit on the Kings guy, leaving the ice with both skates in the air at the same time, with no one fighting. Then the Kings guy gives a 100% clean hit on the Avs guy and the Avs go ape. I guess the Avs are basically a paper tiger. The Kings shouldn't even be in the playoffs but the Avs are barely scoring. Today's game they scored one lousy goal in regulation.
