Hosting a radio show, or a podcast, is an art whose rules few know and that few master to the point that it seems natural. Shaun Starr does. I so appreciate that.
Why does Starr look far more wrecked than D'Amico?
First line especially Slaf, shot the puck.
We nick back on the left side on ppl
When the last time nick has been on left side with the pass to cole
Let not forget bolduc has 1 goal in his last 55 games
See how dach scored ? How hutson scored? Get some traffic in front of net and shoot the puck. Setting up the perfect play does not work
Man once the first line and second line figures it out we will be unstoppabke
Why not swap Newhook with Slav to mix thing up?
MATHESON DRAWS OUT
Super don’t understand why the narrative is “Habs top line isn’t going.” Mtl’s best players and TB’s top players are essentially cancelling each other out. Everyone knew TB would use two checking lines to focus entirely on 13, 14, 20. But that’s also erased all the offence for those two lines. Minus Hagel, of course.
I predict that both Caufield and Suzuki will both score tonight. GO HABS GO !!!!
That last game showed some of the experience Tampa Bay has with the play without the puck shows. We shall over come. GO HABS GO !!!!
Not very good puck support in the 2nd periods of the last two games. They will do better in the game on Sunday. GO HABS GO !!!!
Small things and exceptional goaltending on the other end. GO HABS GO !!!!
Sorry I missed the live show!
Marco has such a brilliant hockey mind, feels like a masterclass every time you talk! Love this podcast and you both!
With how Strubble and Xhekaj are playing, it seems Carrier could be a sacrificial piece for next season… BUT he doesn't have that much value on the market. I always liked Guhle but I am starting to think we can manage without him and he has a much better value than carrier to get a top 6 forward to improve the Demidov line.
Am I the only one who rewatched an episode of Seinfeld this morning after that reference from MSL? X)
Fyi, it's brandon not brendan 😉
Dobesh is playing good
Montreal will win tonight
Why not us?
Tampa's comments …. blah blah blah … sour grapes … the only prediction that was correct was it was going to be a tight series … et voila ..
The reason the top line struggles is becuase Caufield is a very weak link everywhere on the ice and Slafkovsky just stands around in the defensive zone that is 2 weak spots defensively if trying to defend versus the likes of Hagel and Cirelli.Suzuki cannot carry that line in all 3 zones albeit the neutral zone is a free pass MTL never does anything in the neutral zone but Suzuki has been asked to do a lto to carry Caufield and defensively Slafkovsky.
IMO if not for the quickness of Hutson and Matheson MTL is in real big trouble in their own end because both those guys often can carry it out themselves.I rather see Slafkovsky CHASE players down in the D one than just stand there and as for Caufield he is just a soft player he is not going to stop anyone defensively and is never going to win board battles offensively he is ONLY a shooter nothing more.
As for Dobes he has NEVER been a factor and neither is getting MORE shots on net the key for every player/team is to AIm your shots and be smarter when trying to create scoring chances make the goalie go down like they always do and elevate shots.
Why do you pronounce kapanen like that lol
That Hutson goal should make it VERY obvious to all the players that anyone can score just get traffic in front and take the shot quit passing around the perimeter for 40 seconds accomplishing nothing.Slaf has become a LOT better getting to the net and taking shots makes me happy imo he used to be a plug but he has come a long way like a 200% improvement on his game.Caufield needs to lose the skirt and grow a pair get in the dirty areas play some play some playoff hockey this isn't pickup hockey float in the corner waiting for a one timer>>DO SOMETHING.
If the firsrt line continues to rely on that LUCKY Caufield shot from impossible angles I see Tampa taking game 2 the first line NEEDS to show up 5 on 5.
Good show guys keep it up very informative. Watch you guys every time. Enjoy every episode. Thank you.
I have zero concern with the top line. What I'm seeing is the other lines opening up. I said to my son last game that they needed to keep coming with the Dach line. The bolts really just have Hagel going… That's it. One line. Habs rolling 4 lines. The Habs have to another these guys and just frustrate the bolts
You two sound like the old men on the muppets. Stop trying to justify your stupid criticisms of him. You are starting to sound foolish. Grow up, stop pouting and enjoy Arber responding to being in the line-up, playing well through determination and hard work. Keep it up Arber and continue to prove the critics wrong.
