The problem with Colorado’s power-play this game is that every single time they got one the refs immediately called a penalty for the kings, and negated the penalty for the ads. Worst officiated game in this playoffs so far. Only reason kings scored was because a ref blocked the Avs clearing the puck in the first place
There were 19000 people in LA county watching the OT. 28000 watching the replay of the Angels game at the same time.

The PP stats for the avs this game are definitely misleading… how much actual man advantage time did they have over those 3 PP's? There was a lot of 4v4 time this game.

Kings are putting up a great fight. They're very outgunned by my Avs but are playing with a lot of grit and aren't leaving much out on the ice.

Would have been a fun one though.
Disappointed in the outcome but definitely not the effort. Kings hung in there with the best of them. Both goalies played amazing. Some insane defensive plays. Kings are going to have to steal some games like this if they even want a chance, but there's always hope.

cant be more obvious that the refs are on a mission to clear the path for the sucking Oilers….. 5 PP to make sure the Kings would win…. a pathetic penal;ty shot. I mean Cale Makar played it perfectly and pushed Byfield stick before he could shoot.That was the perfect poke and a penalty shot got called like WTF is wrong with these refs.

Kings in 6. The Kings are controlling the avs except for the lucky winning goal. Clark stops the shot from outside with his chest like happy gilmore and its hacked at luckily goes in. Kings know, and avs, that there are on the doorstep, they can beat the best team in the playoffs, GKG!!

Game started yesterday and ended in Denver today. It took an eternity 😂. Also the ESPN broadcasts have been rough so far. Sometimes tough to listen to.

I usually like your content but your breakdown of this game is pretty dismissive of what the game actually looked like.
There were a lot of big hits, there were controversial calls and missed calls, and the way the refs handled the faceoffs was atrocious.
I’m going to chalk it up to your attention being divided and the game ending super late but this is not your best breakdown THG

wait thats wrong, it was the ice behind the kings bench not the avs. it hit our coach in the head and he had to leave to get checked up on
mmm while over the entirety of the regular season kings have been better on the road than at home, the further a game is removed from the playoffs, the less it matters. the games leading up to and after making the playoffs should be weighted to reflect that if we're gonna use regular season win loss records. in the last two weeks of march and the first two weeks of april, we're 5-2-2 at home. and for three weeks of march and one game in april (the very last two dont matter) it was 5-1-3. so honestly basically even now i would say. im not concerned with the homeswing, in fact im excited to see us skate with the advantage since we've kept these games so close.
Whomever Colorado plays next, their coach should consider a helmet during the entire series…
