  1. From a bruins fan one of the best all around players the game has seen, behind Bergeron this was the saddest I’ve been to see a player retire

  2. I've been following the NHL for as long as Kopitar has played. He was just always there and I respected his abilities immensely. To push out of Slovenia and become one of the best two way players in the world is a massive feat. Not to mention the two cups and personal accolades. What a guy and what a career.

  3. Blues fan mad respect.
He’s got two Cups so I’m glad for that. Last six playoffs been rough on Kings 8-24

  4. Congratulations Kope it was a pleasure to watch you lead the kings growing up such a class act & great ambassador for the league. 2 way centre model for generations to come 🙏

  5. One of the most respected guys in the league. Him, Bergeron, Datzuk, barkov. The elite two way forwards that are almost universally liked

  6. Have a great retirement. I’m an Oilers fan so we’re happy to see you retire you did a lot. You’re going to the Hall of Fame. You’re an amazing player.

  7. This is one of the many reasons hockey is the greatest sport on Earth. Much respect for Kopi, the Kings and their fans.

  8. I only wished he scored a goal. I honestly think Wedgewood would of let it go in. Kopitar was third star. My opinion he should of been first and second too. That would of been a great send off.
