Yzerman benefited from playing around tough forwards like McCarty, Shanahan, Probert, Kocur. His rival had players like Foote, Grimson, Deadmarsh. As a GM he has had 6YEARS to put together the softest team imaginable. He should be fired, period…as much as I was a fan of his from my childhood.
