This is an embarrassment to the NHL and it's only going to get worse. The offside rule was not meant for microscopic detail it was meant to prevent cherrypicking into the O zone. Can't wait for the Stanley Cup winning goal to be called back because 3 cm offside. Keep the machines out of it. If a human can't call it within 3 seconds then it's irrelevant to the play. Imagine 90 seconds of play in the zone after the "offside" entry the goal is called back! Just embarrassing!
