A big “thumbs up” for Cami Clune. She dealt with the malfunctioning mic with grace. And when she was handed a fresh mic, she kicked ass singing the American anthem!

I remember seeing in the past the Maple Leaves fans and Oilers fans both sung the US national anthem when there were microphone issues there, so it is our turn as US hockey fans time to return the favor
I’m originally from NYC. I moved to WNY in 1989 and was surprised to go to my first Sabres game and hear the Canadian Anthem. A buddy of mine explained that we are a border city and we always show some respect to our friends across the bridge. Now I’m always surprised not to hear it played in other cities. The beautiful part of it is that WNY’ers know the Canadian National Anthem as well (if not better) than the American National Anthem. I’m proud of our city. 💙💛💙💛💙

Do our friends in Canada understand that the sentiments of our administration does not reflect the feelings of the people of the US? I live in Buffalo and my biggest fear is that Canada and the rest of the world will not return to normal relations after this nightmare is over. 🇨🇦🇺🇸
As a Canadian I am in tears watching thousands of people wearing Sabre's jerseys singing my National Anthem. Even given the fact that they have a tyrannical dictator for a President that constantly puts down Canada and berates it's leaders, it is comforting to know that the average American citizen is still grounded in truth, love and brotherhood. I salute Buffalo New York and the good citizens in that arena.

I wish that Canadians would remember that the American national anthem is the "people's" anthem not the "govenments" anthem. So when you boo out of hate for our govt. you are actually booing it's citizens. What happened in Buffalo is a result from the citizens
