    I really liked him at the Olympics. Seemed like a clean hard hitter. Now he seems like a scumbag after watching him all series. Worse than the two handed chop to benson was running doans head into the glass at full speed.

    Mcavoy slammed Doans head into the boards when he was in a defenseless position, he cross-checked Dahlin in the head. Dude was running around cheapshotting people left and right all series. Boston KNEW that couldn’t win without the cheap shit, and they STILL lost.

    The trip was in retaliation to all this. And yes, I say trip because (a) that’s what it was called even after the refs reviewed the play and (b) it was barely a slew foot, a true slew foot requires taking out a player with your feet behind theirs and a push or pull on the top in combo, which Benson barely gives a one arm nudge behind him on the way down. So trip felt like the right call, though it was on the line I’ll admit.

    Mcbitch was just mad he got played at his own game, and wanted to get some early practice in on his golf swing.

    If that was against any other Bruin, I would think very differently, but Benson was just giving McAvoy the parting gift he deserved.

    The hockey subreddit thinks anytime a players foot contacts another players foot it’s a slewfoot. And 99/100 times it’s just a classic trip and nowhere close to a slewfoot.

    The trip was definitely payback for the shit he’s pulled all series.
