Be grateful for anyone that was too far to attend this sale. Sticks went fast and everything else was soooo overpriced. They marketed this like a huge markdown sale but most things were 50% retail price. Waited a hour to get in during one of the hottest day in south Florida and left with nothing. An older dude actually ended up fainting because it was so hot. Most of the apparel you could probably get right now on the team store online.
Pissed me off seeing people with 10+ sticks that clearly aren’t gonna use them for play. Literally arrived over an hour early and only got a Lomberg stick. Guy in front of the line was bragging about reselling.
I hope adult league players got first dibs at the equipment, better for the stuff to get actual use rather than sitting in a collectors garage
If you weren’t in line at least 45-60 mins before you got scraps.
It was ridiculous. Wanted a stick to actually play hockey with since $75 is a great deal. Got there a hour early and by the time I got in almost all of the sticks were gone. Saw so many scalpers with 10+ sticks talking about reselling. Needed to cap it at 5 per person or less
Majority of the top players sticks were gone under a minute. People were just grabbing armfuls of sticks. It was crazy.
I doubt most of them were game used anyways. They werent taped, cut down, or had any kinds of obvious use like scuff marks.
I was 18th in line at 8 am. By the time the doors opened, I was about 30th because people kept having their friends jump in line after 9 am. Most of them were talking about grabbing a bunch of sticks as well. Security supervisor said there was nothing he could do about them skipping, then watched 4 more people jump in line as people were complaining to him

got a single sebrango stick and am feeling so so lucky because literally everything was swiped up by the start, heard that someone walked out with 10 bob sticks right at the start. cannot believe the 10 stick limit, should’ve been 2, they’d sell out anyway.
