    We need to have a dominant regular season so we can rest guys ten games from the end.
    We gave never had a dominant regular season in the mcdavid Era! Let's get the roster that gets us to the top in regular season then win it all in the playoffs. Expectations are high!

    Can't blame him for Broberg and Holloway, as the offer sheets were mainly the doing of Hollans and Jackson. He did his best to try filling the holes with Podz and Emberson. Not a full replacement, but he tried.

    What you CAN blame on him is the 8-year Frederic contract and the trade of Skinner+Kulak+2nd rounder for Jarry. That trade is a fireable offence.

    If Murphy, Dickinson and/or Roslovic resign at affordable cap hits, does this make up for the terrible trade?

    How do you surround 97 & 29 for Oilers with absolute dogshit goalies for as long as they have been there?

    This Bowman GM is wasting 97 & 29 best years all bc he doesn't have a damn clue what he's doing.

    Oilers have turned into the Leafs all bc the GM is a damn DUMBASS incompetent MOMO!!

    Oilers fans wanted Skinner gone and complained that he got moved. Coach clearly did not have an answer for the defensive issues. Bowman did a bad job, Knoblauch was just hoping McDavid could save them and McDavid got injured in the playoffs and is not that great of a player without his speed. I would trade McDavid if I could get a deal like the Nordiques got for Lindros.

    Like it or not, there is a core of regulars around which all other players rotate. This is the team in team. Nuge, Hyman, Nurse, Bouchard, Ekholm, McDavid, Draisaital. They want to win together. Look, whoever it is that’s new, plan for rotation and roll 4 lines with regular depth players rotating in and out to provide comeraderie for each line while developing a reserve in depth. In case of injury, ya play with the reserve guy you’ve played with before. That will win games. Get an assistant defensive coach specifically for Nurse and Bouchard. Nurse takes ill judged penalties, rather than causing them. Bouchard moves the puck and produces critical points at critical moments which win games. He loses almost as many games with turnovers which appear clumsy. Both are coachable errors. The players on the roster will produce more points if given more time on a line they know. FFS give McD and Dr a bit of a rest in the regular season after all these tournaments. Play defensive. With what you got, you will win games if you reduce GA. In this first round, as during the regular season, 4 GA per game was a regular occurrence. That has to stop. And get a goalie or get gone.

    Fire does clowns ( Jackson and bowman) jarry ,Frédéric Mangiapane, resigning (ekholm,wallman), Arvirdsson henrique, skinner mcleod holloway broberg and 10.5 millions to a D-men who cant play defence no discount there. This is worst than Chiarelli.
