To me this was such an obvious thing to see coming.

They only got 2 days off after a crazy, emotional game and series win. Then you throw in they are playing an absolute buzzsaw team that plays such a relentless style & it was easy to see a « dud » game incoming.

Wasn’t much to take from that game positively, but I will say we played as bad as we have all yr and it was only 2-0 until juulsens horrific turnover (he should be taken out)

I’m not overly optimistic about us winning G2, but I think we can play a lottttttt better

Taco is right. They definitely looked lost going from a Pens series to a Canes series.

But the Flyers can play a lot of different styles and they have shown they can play up to higher competition. They’re very chameleon that way. The only goal now is to come back home to game 3, with the series tied 1-1.

Win game 2, reset the series, and make it a fight.

I’m probably wrong, but I think they’re completely exhausted. They had about 2 days off while the canes had a week.

They looked absolutely cooked before York pulled one out of his ass in Game 6 and it might be starting to show for real now

Less than 48 hour notice of the game was a bit of a fuck you to the Flyers also

Yes 2 days rest was a bunch of shit but hear me out… Maybe if all our energy every game game in and game out wasn’t spent on a flawed awful dump and chase system we probably wouldn’t be as tired as we are.

You know which teams besides us use this stupid system? The panthers/Blues/Leafs/Blackhawks…. Guess where they are all at? This brand of hockey is never going to work come the grind each playoffs and this is why I didn’t want Toc. Its 2026 not 2006

They got completely screwed by the scheduling, so stupid to have round 2 starting before round 1 is over

Kinda on you then, brother. Need them ready.

NHL screwed them. No rest at all, but the travel is also related to the seed advantage. We rarely were able to get offensive pressure and we looked like we were fighting for our lives in our own defensive end. All things considered, it’s amazing we only lost 3-0.

Honestly, though, the loss didn’t hurt (much). Maybe the Sixers tempered it a bit, but this is such a young team that is playing with house money. I feel like this playoff experience is more about preparing us for when we’re a bit stronger and experienced.
