Happy Game 1 Day, Avs fans! Gonna be a fun (and tense) one. Series predictions? I’ve got Avalanche in six. What say you?

  2. He just needs to be a threat. If he can bury a couple they will give him a ton of respect and give space to our depth players who can also score.

    This interaction lmao

    > Burns rose, stretched to his full 6-foot-5, and headed for the nearest exit.

    > “You said (if) you wear those loose pants, you get better blood flow, you’re feeling good,” the big man cracked as he left.

    > “Once you get to 40,” Necas countered, “you get nervous, but …”

Actual mikko only had 1 goal and was a -8 with a lot of unnecessary shithousery. Id prefer he be necas

Yes, Necas doesn’t need to be a player that went -8 in 6 games played.

No, we need someone more consistent. I lost
count of the number of times someone said “where the hell is Rantanen” because he was just kind of coasting for whole playoff games.

We need Necas to just keep being Necas.

I am kinda tired of the comparisons. The trade is over, we are all happy.

The thing for Necas is just focusing on getting the puck out of the defensive half without a bad turnover. He did that in the Dallas series last year and it cost us. Saw a little bit of it against LA and got lucky it didn’t bite us. Minnesota will make us pay for those mistakes.

We win this series if Necas, Mack, and Makar aren’t the only ones scoring.

I prefer Necas to Rantanen. His play style fits better with the team. I really want Necas to shoot a bit more. It at least feels like he gives up open shots for harder passes but I acknowledge that the puck is on his stick a lot so it may just feel that way.

Mikko has turned into a thug at Dallas. Marty likes to party.

    We like parties.

I see every game as a race to 3. I don’t see wedgie and this defense giving up more than 3 in any game. Get to 3 goals first and then play balls to the wall defense

Necas getting points this series because the ice will open up a bit more

Be as just needs to stop with the fancy plays and passes and play with more of a firm hand on the puck. His play style doesn’t translate well to the playoffs, but he should still be able to get some points
