    Last year was a blip, with Chief saying on, which I guarantee was a promise JC made a case for during interviews, this team is and will be tough and built for the Loffs, they go very deep next year with number one draft choice ,they will get #1 for sure Gary will make sure, the deepest maybe even the whole way. This JC guy is a master analytical and has matured , it’s go time boys, starts with the Number 1 Ball that drops for the draft with ML blue on it , yeah boys

    It took a consulting firm to hire a guy that nobody else wanted with a record of failure, not to mention complete conflict of interest. And the guy has a reputation of being a bull* artist so nobody is going to want to negotiate with him. Well done mlse, way to embarrass the best fans in pro sports like nobody else can.     Pelley should be fired. #1 for lying to all the Leaf's fans for not hiring a PROVEN Leader, #2 because he does not know what he is doing to HELP the LEAF'S get better. Not expecting any change but I do expect many losses and will likely make Matthews LEAVE.

    Let's be honest. In Keith Pelley we have another Richard Peddie at the helm. This is just a ridiculous hire. Just imagine all of the self congratulating between Pelley and the Board believing they have done something clever and creative.

    Either Pelley is playing with fire, or he’s truly bulletproof. By hiring Chayka—who has earned little respect from many general managers around the league and is broadly disliked by the majority of fan bases—he has triggered widespread backlash.

    Chayka should be the only GM candidate who has faced meaningful disapproval from both his peers and the fans before even stepping into the role—something that, in 30 years of Leafs history, has not been seen.

    The Maple Leafs are effectively finished for the foreseeable future. This decision is all but guaranteed to produce a worse, messier outcome than anyone expects. Keith Pelley is the public enemy number one in Toronto. Ridiculous! My company has own a number of seasonal tickets , Monday after the announce the hiring of Chayka, I will inform my assistant to cancel all of them.
