J’ai un vieux cri de canard datant probablement de la première saison. Je ne sais pas comment il est arrivé jusqu’ici avec moi sans se faire jeter. J’étais enfant à l’époque et je me souviens vaguement d’avoir assisté à beaucoup de matchs avec des abonnements au cours des premières années.
Les gens les amènent encore pour faire du bruit ? Je me souviens que je les détestais quand j’étais enfant parce que les gens étaient bruyants. Je ne sais pas si je l’ai acheté ou s’il est venu en cadeau un jour.
Existe-t-il un marché secondaire pour la vente d’appeaux de canard d’occasion ? Cela m’accompagnera vendredi.

The newer ones are shaped like duckbills and sound a little different bills and sound a little different. I also have mine from my very first game in 93. Most of the mighty duck logos are rubbed off by now but she still quacks like a charm
I heard a few at a game this year. I think someone also had a hunting duck caller too. I mean sure why not lol.

We still have all ours! My dad figured out how to do the CHARGE fanfare so he gets our section all riled up. They’re great.
I went to Disneyland with my family back in 1997 or so. (Can’t remember the year exactly) Was absolutely in love with the movie, so I convinced my family to go see the Ducks play at Arrowhead Pond, in a game which we lost against the St Louis Blues. But I bought one JUST like these at the game! I absolutely drove everyone in my family insane with it, until I unfortunately left it in the rental car before flying back home. I’ve been actually thinking about it recently, nice coincidence to see this post here.
I was just having a conversation the other day with a friend about how I used to have like 50 of these and I wish I would have hung onto one. Now that I am a parent I suspect my parents probably strategically got rid of them because I am sure I was annoying with it.
Still have mine! …and the scar on my tongue when 9 year old me tripped with the thing in my mouth. 😅
Why don’t more people use these at the games?
I have one of these. Mines the same colors but a slightly different shape I think. I got one of the new duck bill ones and they suck. You can only blow a tiny amount of air through them or they don’t work, so they don’t get very loud. Those old ones are way better.
I have a Duck Commander Uncle Si Model. Very loud, but not nearly as loud as a double reed duck call. I love it because I don’t have to yell at games.
We bought a bunch of Zink Power Hen duck calls off Amazon and have been passing them out to kids (with parents’ permission) at playoff games. $20 to get the kids involved and excited is money well spent.
