So the commentator has never seen a hockey game before??? It's pretty common. Just sometimes the skater with the puck will pass along the boards instead of using the time to run down the clock and let his team get a breather in.

It wasn't def it wz bad offense on everything no one came back at all to help and buddy just dribble the puck gi forward dude . Tge flyers didn't show up in first game.

Question: as someone who’s never played ice hockey just shooting around in the street with my friends… and someone who loves hockey… what is Slavic looking for here to read drysdale? And is it mainly his positioning that prevents drysdale from making the pass cuz if he does turn it over slavins right in front of the net? Cuz it seemed like Jamie had a couple options that he didn’t take

I'm 77 years old and I can remember Davey Keon from Toronto Maple leafs doing stops and starts facing the net doing the same thing. Intimidating the defenseman behind the net with the puck! This was back in the late '50s early '60s and the last time Toronto won the Stanley cup was in the 66-67 season, My senior year of high school, and I was at a hockey camp in Toronto in July of '66 where I learned how to check from Tim Horton and Bobby Baun who are at the camp with Bobby Hull. The Toronto Marlboros were the camp counselors.
