10 of them had it right going to 7 games. At that point it’s a coin toss, so it doesn’t really matter that much which team they called it for. Also, 4 games went to OT, every game was decided by 1 goal. It’s not getting any tighter than that.
Whoever had Habs in 6 was sooooo close though.
Honestly, this is a pretty good prediction of the series. Only a couple of jokers with Bolts in 5.

This is important to remember. Buffalo is picked to move on. And Carolina is picked to move to the finals by many of the same ‘experts’. Colorado is picked to take the finals. The odds makers are not giving the Habs much of a chance.
I think they are going by numbers only. What they do not see is heart, courage and good playoff strategy. I am equally confident the Habs can win the next series.
Look back in history too. At the start of the championship runs in the past the set up was similar. The Habs made the playoffs and some young players gained experience, then went on a run that lasted many years. I am predicting a run with several Cups in the next 8 or 10 years, regardless of what happens this year.
