  1. No, it isn't, but fans will lose what's left of their minds if the Canucks don't pick a bigger player. I'd lean towards Malhotra because he already had the skill set and work ethic at both ends, and now he's showing he's a clutch player. But BPA all the way. Don't pick by position. If one of the 2 big fish fall to 3, you have to take him unless there's a legitimate reason for that fall (not because of his nationality – that's not a thing). Some fans need to replace those paper bags (though I agree with the sentiment – ownership is awful) with white hoods. The bigotry towards some players is embarrassing. I'm sure Colorado won a Cup in spite of Mikko Rantanen.

  2. It doesn't really matter what pick Vancouver gets, because they will get a good player. I think the biggest kick in the nuts would be who gets the 1st overall pick if the Canucks don't.
