Just play your game. The goals will come. You have a mitt full of points already.

The lack of support for him outta some of the fan base is crazy. This dude transformed the Wild. He doesn’t need more pressure. He needs to know we’re behind him and proud of him, so he can just play his game and not grip it too tight.

Some top commenter in here was trying to tell me he’s not worried about Kap and that I was crazy for saying we needed more from him. If Kirill says Kirill needs to play better…

It’s wild bc he’s tied for second in the league for points this offseason, for some reason if he doesn’t go on absolute heater he gets so much flack for not contributing offensively even though he’s steadily getting points (he’s tied w Boldy and Draisaitl behind Hughes)

It’d be great if he could pot a couple more goals, but he’s 2nd in the playoffs in points, is a +9, and is grading out great on basically every statistical metric and analytic you can find. It’s kind of a champagne problem to be complaining about Kaprizov right now.

If the Wild lose this series, it’s not going to be because Kaprizov wasn’t super human enough. It’s going to be because we have one top 6 center and he’s injured now.

He tends to have these cold streaks where he starts trying too hard to make things happen and it just doesn’t work. He just needs one or two shots to go in and he’ll be right back to his usual level. He’s fine, he’s still been great points-wise these playoffs.

  7. meh Colorado is a great team. We were coming off an emotional series. We will be fine

To be fair, they did score 6 against the Avs so I’m not sure if offense was the real problem here.

+/- stat playoffs so far: He’s at +9 right now. He is positively influencing our game. Brady Tkachuk ended with -4 and Connor McDavid with -4

I’m glad Kap holds himself to as high standards as fans do

When you sign for 16m a year, then 16m a year expectations follow you.

Completely unbacked stance here, but this is how I imagine McDavid feels. Great player, gets paid, and the pressure surmounts because (some) fans demand multiple points a game.

The dude brings such an impact on the ice even if he doesn’t score. I am confused as to how so many fans are missing that he’s still got 9 points (2nd in league).

I love this team and MN but god damn we have some fans that just talk out of their ass.

i have never turned my back on kirill the thrill

A $17 million contract just adds to the expectations. I wonder if Kirill is feeling added pressure right now.

  14. Offensively he was fine. It’s on the backend where you notice the holes. Couple times I found myself yelling where’s the wing?! Whose guy was that? It was Kap’s.. he’ll get it after watching film.

Gonna say that Brodin injury, Ek injury and Defense are larger issues than Kap. Also leave my boy alone

I know Karil is doing shit and driving a ton of offense, but hes not doing it in the flashy way he has im the past. I know hes doing well, but only when I look at the stats. My monkey brains has no idea hes even on the ice though.
