L’annonceur des Flyers appelle apparemment à blesser le gardien des Hurricanes

J’ai vu des choses folles dire lors des séries éliminatoires de la Coupe Stanley, mais celle-ci est nouvelle. Carolina Hockey Now a l’histoire.

    philthadelphia at it’s finest

Unsurprising considering Timo Meier proved it was a viable strategy last year. Takes out Freddie, then immediately scores on a cold Kochetkov.

  3. I watched the whole panel they did where this quote comes from its right [here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ17rtEjF-U) I didnt really get the impression he was “calling for injury” more like he was commenting on Freddie’s durability and tendency to have his play drop off. Maybe that’s just me, but I am more generally willing to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Boy, I really hope Jackson gets fired for this blunder. Stopped listening to him a long time ago.

This is actually a good strategy. Why don’t teams just injure all of the goalies? If you take out 2-3 of them then it’s just free empty netters.

I heard this one too. First – it’s not like the team itself is listening to this dude. And two it’s some random podcast in Philly – so he likely has little post season commentary exp – who gives a flying fart what this rando old guy, central lady advert, and stat nerd have to say.

So they want their team to go full Florida Panther? I’m not sure Philly has the same level of protection from Campbell and Bettingman.

Eh, no harm no foul. Homer says something dumb on a podcast, rinse and repeat. As long as it’s not a player or coach, it’s fine IMO.

This is just basic hockey strategy. Make it difficult for the opposing goalie. Every single team in every single league from peewee on up to pro is just trying to make it difficult for the opposing goalie and yes Carolina does it as well.
