Why not depth even tho he’s older and slower

Definitely not. Hes taking a spot better given to a developing player or a checking line player with speed and hitting. Hard pass. Appleton, Rasmussen and Compher can go too. All way too soft.
We need guys that are faster than Perron and can check. If you are going to struggle offensively, then have a guy in this lineup who will lay checks and hit on every shift when possible. It’s clear what this team is lacking and the other teams know that and take advantage of it.
