Bruins are going to be trash for another 2 years it appears
Either way sweeney would have fucked the pick up so it really doesnt matter does it
It’s completely rigged.
We loose 2 spots last year 5-7 this year Toronto goes up 5-1st
pick . Cost us Brady Martin instead we get Hagens last year . On the other hand One first round pick isn’t going to fix the leafs so maybe 1more bad year Matthews leaves then the leafs sink more .
If that wasn't fixed ,I don't know what was.
They gave it to the Isles last yr to appease the lost of the All Star game.
And now this.
What a sham
As a leafs fan i would line to say to Boston fans……na nan na na na
I just don't think you have the assets to get a top 4 (1st pairing) LD, top 4 RD, and 2 top 6 F. Feels like its rebuild or mushy middle
Stop talking about Rob Thomas. We've sold the future to bet on the present for the last decade and look where it has gotten us… We need to keep our picks and build for the future. If 3 guys who aren't legit stars get their feelings hurt over that then so be it, they can be dealt for more picks.
I'm sick of loyalty towards a few players rather than loyalty to what is actually better for the team in the long term.
Why is everyone so upset? It's Toronto, I guarantee this will work out better for the bruins in the end. They are terrible and won't be good in 2 years either
So rigged 😂
Isn’t it a 2027?
I say trade Pastrnak and Swayman. Build the team with picks and huge prospects.
I think Boston needs to (now, unfortunately) trade away those first-rounders they acquired in 2025 from Florida and Toronto.
2028 picks aren’t going to help the current Bruins core.
Time to package those future picks to move up in this draft.
Trade the farm for Thomas: Hagens, the 21st pick, Minten, and Poitras. And sign Anderson.
I would try to trade Boston’s 2026 first round, Boston’s 2027 first round, and one of the B’s three 2028 first round picks … to move up into this summer’s top five selections.
I think the Canucks or Rangers could be interested.

No!!
The 2025-26 Bruins roster had an average age of 27, among the youngest teams in the NHL!
The old Bergeron/Claude/Cassidy era narrative of “Bruins won’t play youngsters” does NOT apply, today.
The Bruins iced a line of forwards IN THE PLAYOFFS that had an average age of TWENTY-ONE (Khusnutdinov, Hagens, Minten).
The only other “kids” that are healthy and potentially NHL-ready on the Bruins’ extended/full roster are Poitras and Lysell. That’s it!
Remember when mitch marner played on toronto and that didnt matter. Same thing here. Oh well.
Rather have Carlo, just saying.
