    I was hoping we'd get into the top ten, but we could have fallen back to 14 or 15. I didn't think it was realistic to be in the top five. I thought 7, 8, or nine. But 13 is where we are.

    Dear lawd not Lin. He is a smurf and Isles have plenty of those. Ethan Belicewz is recently mocked in that area and several others but he is hige, very skilled hands, & mean, goal scoring wing. Isles lack that.

    -NO LOTTERY LUCK FOR ISLES this year. funny that somehow laffs win the lottery keeping that top 10 protected pick from b's. mckenna is gonna drown in the t o pressure cooker. good thing traitor judas is there to show mckenna how to win in t o pressure cooker, oops…
    -meanwhile sj moves up and gets two pick to go with 2 last year and lottery win before that. sj unless they move that pick will add yet another stud up front-probably sternberg-to go with celebrini, misa, smith, eklund, cherbyshov, etc. just a spoils of young talent up front in sj. that's how you do it isles. thru high picks. poor casucks somehow got dropped to three and along with flames still have never gotten the top pick.
    -at 13 isles aren't gonna get a player that can help right away once again. speaking of laffs after getting the jewel of this draft mckenna will they move unhappy austen out now as part of yet another re-build that followed the one started 10 years ago with the lottery win that brought austen to laffs? go get austen a g scorer darche.
    -aichenson and barrie slayed the giant brantford coming back from 3-1 to do it with a 5-0 game 7 shutout so ka is off to finals to face kitchener with isle pick l. romano. batrrie coach attitude was aimed at media that gave barrie no chance vs. loaded b'dof team.
    -18 connolly was rushed into isle line-up by impulsive to win now milbury and was mishandled from the start. dude had all the skill in the world jutt never could put it together with big enough numbers to be a top 1 c in nhl which you expect out of a no. 5 pick. having his brain scrambled as a sabre thanks to a cheap shot didn't help his cause. at least connolly along with the 8 pick that draft t. pyatt got isles peca in one of milbury's better trades.

    quite a few to choose from.. J. P. Hurlbert, Caleb Malhotra, Jack Hextall, Klepov, Yegor Shilov..or the pick will be traded for a 34 year old who has 3 more years left on contract. Side note to Calder, Ivan Demidov and Beckett Sennecke helped their team into the playoffs, Matthew did not. Ivan with 60 points, 40 assists for 1st, even strength assists 1st, power play assists 1st, power play points 1st,multi point performance tied for 1st.. Who really deserves the Calder?

    Omg hate the Queeefs! Lose Marner and as easily as one season win the draft lottery and will pick Gavin Mac for a replacement! Omg 😳 is Mike Grier the luckiest! The Sharks 🦈 moving from 9 to 2? Would they consider trading number 2? Eklund has already taken Shabby , Lee’s , Duke , and Engvall’s roster spot! All of those guys should get traded, bought out, and let walk! Eklund is just as small as Shabby but has more upside . Go Islanders! Good for Rock 🎸 T! Happy for Him!

    Can’t win em all but at 13 Ryan Lin is the guy, fills an important need and I personally think he’ll transition better then rudolf who might get picked ahead of him anyway, he’s committing to ncaa this upcoming season although small his speed, skill and IQ make him a sure top 4 defender.
