  1. You guys are displaying a hidden side of toughness. By soldiering on though this frustrating decade of fandom, you inspire all of the rest of the red wings nation. I might have to order a game-worn Uwe Krupp #4 red wings jersey to symbolize my battered (but unbroken) faith in the winged wheel team iced in 2026. It comes with a free dog sled, apparently. Only 8 million lost for the promise of his veteran defensive leadership, way back in the day. A sign of poor signings to come! Keep smiling, fellas.

  2. Another Atlantic team gets better and Yzerman will sign a few nobodies in the offseason. We'll be at the bottom of the division again next year, boys. Simple solution for the draft lottery is to get rid of it and give the first overall pick to the team that gets the most points after being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

  3. The leafs ball getting knocked out of the way was 2020. The balls were team branded as the team that won the first lottery was "placeholder team" for a random team that lost in the play-in round and all of the teams that lost the best of five got a ball. The rangers ball is the one that knocked the leafs out and secured Lafreniere.

  4. Maybe now we can stop hearing how the sky has fallen about the first round pick for Faulk. Anyone with a sense for probabilities (88% chance of getting into the playoffs) knows that you make that move.

  5. pretty convinced MBN, Genborg should be on the roster next year. Prob more of a step for Genborg, but put him on the 4th line and let him roll.

  6. NY Governor writing Bettman a letter last year DEMANDING the NHL make it up to Long Island with an equal or better financial event (after pulling out the all star game in 2026) the WEEK of the lottery last year. Isles move up from 10th to 1st.. the Dallas Mavericks coincidence.. now the Leafs after Matthews wants to leave. Something stinks thats for sure.

  7. 44:10 That's what I'm wondering, Brad. Who are we better than in the Atlantic. I think we're going to be in the lottery again next year. I still think we call the Yzerplan a failure, and start another rebuild. This failed. We're going to be no closer to the playoffs than when Yzerman started.

  8. I don't think it's that overblown Brad, we win a lottery like the Sharks just did in the Danielson or Kasper years and this team is dramatically different. Logan Cooley, Cutter Gauthier, Bedard, Fantilli, or Leo Carlsson.

  9. I don’t know. I wouldn’t have a problem with calling the PWHL team the Lady Wings. You could have a logo that is a variation on the Red Wings logo. The wheel in the center with a wing on each side and octopus patches on the shoulders. I think that would look decent, but I could understand if they didn’t want to pair up with the NHl franchise name too.

  10. MAKE IT LOUDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1: LARKIN to (SanJose or Toronto or Frondell(Chicago)- If say "no" include Faulk- If say "no_ Well Fuck

2: Gibson (half retained), Faulk, Wallinder and 2nd/4th for Bo Byram- If they "no" well Fuck

3: Go get Blake Coleman and AJ Greer

4: Call on EP40, S.Wright, McTavish and Michkov

  11. I know this is be considered "politics" by some (though, this is not) but Malkin, together with Ovechkin, are ardent supporters of Putin and the genocide against Ukraine, and, to me, that negates whatever they do as hockey players. I am talking the levels of support where they sent money to the ruzzian military. Being a good hockey player does not excempt you from not being an asshole. If Malkin ends up on the Red Wings, I am done with this club.

  12. Brad maybe tone down the extra extra cynicism dude lol. It doesn't help anything, at all. There's a lot to look forward to this year. If some of you people can't see that, you're so conditioned it's not even funny.

  13. 20:06 what do you mean they are pronounced diffrently? I'm a swede myself and can vouch that they are pronounced exactly the same lol

  14. When Ryan (describing the Roast of Chris Osgood) said “I think there’s going to be some Red Wings in attendance as well: Dylan Larkin, Zach Werenski…best friend of Dylan Larkin…” I almost lost my drink!

Ryan, you can’t do that to us!
