McDavid and Drai giving up games in the 2024 finals due to throwing tantrums on the ice rather than focusing on winning.

  2. HalfInchHollow

That picture alone is triggering thanks a lot

Luongo had a couple of stinkers in 2011. What a Fragile Freddy he was. 😖

  4. Shiny_Mew76

Hellebuyck has had a few of these, although I do give him some leeway due to circumstances.

  5. Tristan Jarry game 5 2021. Only faced 28 shots (Sorokin faced 50) and gave away the game and the series in 2OT.

  6. Minimum-Beautiful840

Fourgiev, the final years he played for the Avs.

  7. cadaverous_mob

those 2 goals Lalime allowed to Nieuwendyk is what i think of

  8. kawhileopard

The entire Leafs team (minus the goalie) in game six of the 2000 semifinals against The Devils.

The leafs had a record low 6 shots on net.

**Tomas Sandstrom (Career):** Holds the record for the lowest career playoff plus/minus at -45.

**Darnell Nurse (2024):** Entered the 2024 Cup Final with a -13, among the worst for a player on a team making the Final.

**Paul Reinhart (1983):** Recorded a -16 in a single playoff run.

**Josh Manson (2022):** Managed a -4 in an 8-6 win

**Craig Hartsburg (1981):** Went -4 in a game his team won by three goals.

Last years game 5 and 7 Leafs. The whole team. One of the most disgusting performances I’ve ever seen.

  11. waistbandtucker69

Dan Cloutier, April 21st 2002, letting in Lidstroms shot from center changed everything in that series

  12. grimacelololol

Bruins when they faced the sabres this year 😖😭

    Goalies

[Jacob Markstrom (2024)](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sm3qzyLC2S8)**:** Allowed 9 goals on 24 shots in a single game.
[Stuart Skinner (2024)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWEn9CotErQ)**:** Had a .796 save percentage in key games against the Canucks, with a career playoff save percentage at .881 through 20 games.
[Rick St. Croix (1982-83)](https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/worst-gaa-for-a-goalie-in-stanley-cup-playoffs-in-a-season)**:** Recorded a disastrous 225.00 goals-against average.
[Mike Karakas (1945-46)](https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/worst-gaa-as-a-goalie-in-stanley-cup-playoffs-in-a-season-with-a-minimum-of-240-minutes)**:** Recorded a 6.50 GAA, which is the worst for a goalie with 240+ minutes played

Marner spin around back hand up the middle vs Florida

To be fair to Roy, a lot of those goals weren’t really his fault. The team was absolutely gassed by game 7 and didn’t play much defense. If you watch game 6 of that series you could tell the Avs were really at the end of their rope. Plus, that Wings team was so much deeper.

  16. Loudwhispershout

Keith Tkachuk in every playoff. Always among the top 82 game players. Playoffs start and he went poof.

  17. It says worst performance but the image is from a treasured memory of a delightful evening.

  18. Common-Count3848

That pad set up is what inspired kid me to become a goalie. I still have my authentic MIC KOHO jersey.

  19. SpartyNash

I was 10 years old and a massive Wings fan, we got tickets through a family friend to sit in a suite for Game 7 Wings/Avs in 2002. I could not believe what I was watching that whole game. I will never forget the roar of the crowd when Roy got pulled after giving up 6 goals. The Patrick chants were so loud at the Joe.

  20. Horrison2

I hate to bring this up as it still hurts. Marchand just taking a line change in game 7 while the blues rush the damn puck, with 8 seconds left in the period… Holy hell

  21. Can we do a series?

Elliot in the 2017 first round for us.

He probably cost himself 20 million in career earnings with that.

  22. Several_Tangerine956

The 2011-12 series between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

    Game 2: PHI 8 – 5 PIT,
    Game 3: PHI 8 – 4 PIT,
    Game 4: PIT 10 – 3 PHI

  23. princeofottawa

I don’t know. If a goalie lets in 2 goals on 9 shots in 3 periods, that’s pretty bad

  24. ContributionWide4583

Nazim Kadri when he was 2C of the Leafs and got ragebaited into suspensions two years in a row.

  25. flashdurb

Patrick can’t hear what you’re saying, he’s got his 4 Stanley Cup rings plugged in his ears.

  26. MapleSuds

As a Leaf fan, someone can pick it for me. There’s too many. 😢

  27. Weird that the cover photo for this post is of the only player in NHL history that’s won 3 Conn Smyth trophies. Must be a salty Red Wings fan posting this. I get it though…they must be bored not being able to watch their team in May for the 10th straight season or however long it’s been.

  28. strugglingtransgrl

Blackhawks 2016 round 1. Swept by Nashville. End of the dynasty just like that

  29. tonydonut34

Dallas missing an empty net allowing Edmonton to go the other way to score and tie the game sending it to overtime.

  30. CanadaCalamity

It is absolutely insane to think that a team with Brett Hull, Brendan Shanahan, Steve Yzerman, Luc Robitaille, Nick Lidstron, Sergei Federov, Dominik Hasek, Chris Chelios, Igor Larionov and others, ***almost lost this series***. I mean, they got pushed to 7 games. And if Patrick Roy stands on his head (which he was capable of doing), they could have just not won the cup that year.

Honestly, that is the bigger story than Patrick Roy laying a stinker in a 4-Cup, 3-Conn Smythe career.

  31. burn_bridges

Anthony Mantha the entire first round of this year for the Penguins. Absolute saboteur

  32. TWIRLYBISCUIT

Any time you watch the leafs in the playoffs, any player.
