  1. oh it was clearly a pick. was easy to see and realize on the live broadcast, but of course it was missed or just not called.
officiating was kind of all over the place in that game. players just have no idea what you can and can't do, and the audience has no clue what is or isn't a penalty either. if only they could just call things by the rulebook. i get the whole playoff let them play thing, but thats the problem – consistency.
    just call the calls.

a pick like this which leads to a potential series turning event doesn't get called, but heaven forbid you touch their gloves during a stick check (hooking) or put the puck over the glass!! sin bin for you, sir!!

  2. Tampa discussed this play during the intermission. Blatant interference on Dach. Cooper, I have never seen a coach making gestures to the fans after a game, win or lose. 🧻

  3. Canada claims to be the inventor of the sport Ice Hockey, but they never show any class of the sport!
Canada is like the bully in low grade school made up a game and always changed the rules to make him win, all the time!
No one want to play a bully!
Like getting invited to a party then get heckled by the host for 5 hours, no one will put up with that shit!

  4. Didn’t like the game management. Montreal should have been down 5v3 after that high stick. That inference penalty later was a makeup but an extra penalty is nowhere near as important as a 5v3

  5. Yeah, if the refs aplly the already existent rule, these screens should became interference the moment the "screener" stops skating and just glides. This was how philly won the series vs pens, by permanently obstructing in this fashion.

  6. It's a crafty play in a big moment. But in the moment this can't be called in a playoff OT game. Even as a Habs fan, it is what it is.

  7. Thanks for posting this. It seems to be a set play for Tampa more than most teams. It's interference, but if it's done subtly it seldom gets called.

  8. Ive seen lots of Canadiens fans complaining that the officiating has been bad for them. I'm a Lightning fan so I'm definitely biased, but i really believe they've been equally as bad for us. It's been pretty even.

  9. Lilleberg never turned but sped up. I don't think the rule is to stop and let the opponent take the space. He went straight ahead. Dach should have stopped and cut inside him.

  10. Good no call. Dach needs to work harder to do something effective here. Stop, spin, turn; do something if you want the refs to call something.
