Reid if they were smart.
It’s 100% Stenberg. The huge drop off in scoring after Celebrini shows a glaring need for a high scoring winger to complement him. Smith is good but I’m not convinced he’s the guy.

The Sharks can wheel and deal and possibly pick up a young promising defenseman and a high level defenseman with this pick. It doesn’t sound like there is a drop off until 6. I don’t know how good the prospects really are so I can’t judge.
Potential is a fools game sometimes… Smits is listed at 50% NHL probability while playing in mens leagues and world tournaments (against NHL players). Mind you he is the same age (you can train him along other prospects) but has a more substantial 'body of work'. Sometimes you wonder who makes up these lists, data, and probabilities…
BPA the only real choice

Alberts Smits at 2 and then Wyatt Cullen or JP Hurlbert at 20…

Idk why, but I feel like they will drop back and get Carels. They probably have had a lot of access to him throughout the year.
Stenberg is essentially de-risked already having produced in the SHL. Getting another guy who can play at Celebrini’s level for the next 10 years is mouth watering. Also plays a smart hard working 200ft game. I mean, that could be game breaking
