Amazing game!! Definitely lived up to the billing! And what a save at the end by our backup goaltender EJ! This should quiet down the Kuemper haters and the idiots who keep saying we can't beat the good teams.

As an Avs fan, this game had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. As much as I love watching them blow out opponents, I especially love winning these close playoff-like games. Mad respect to the Panthers, they're a helluva team right now and I'm really hoping for a 1996 rematch!
Also, Andre Burakovsky is a beast. Best player in the game if he can score a hatty for us and then turn around and make saves as their substitute goalie.
There was words exchanged at center ice after the final whistle too! If they play each other again it will be electric.
You love to see Burakovsky utilize that sick wrister of his. He's got 30-goal potential easy, hopefully this is the season he realizes it. Also, monster game from EJ and Kuemper.

This game proved our goaltending is fine, the numbers are just skewed because it's hard to stay completely focused when you are winning 7-2. You don't have to have a goalie with a sub 2 gaa you need a goalie that will hold you in a game when you only score 2
