The legal process is fucked if they have to reconvene for every nonsense defense that the accused comes up with. I feel like we need to expedite cases where there is clear evidence (once they’ve confirmed it isn’t fabricated for whatever reason).

The legal limit in New Jersey is .08%, the defendant’s reading was .087%, but the defendant’s expert somehow measured his level as .075% . But the thing is, drunk or not, he still ran them over when he passed on the shoulder. I guess one sentence Carrie’s a few more years on it than the other.

Drunk driving does not dismiss fault. It makes it worse. He chose to put others at risk when he got behind the wheel and then again when he drove aggressively to pass on the shoulder. Jail for life as far as I am concerned.
