Here’s the question I’d like to get answered from EF & the holier than now Steve Simmons. Have they reached out to those same people who have an issue with John Chayka and ask why their wasn’t the same outrage when Stan Bowman came back into the league after allowing a sexual predator to sexually assault young impressionable prospects in the name of the winning when he was with Chicago? As far as I’m concerned, all these outraged League sources are showing their true colours.

i for one am willing to give this a chance. no problem whatsoever. look, we wanted a whitewash start , with this guy, matts and our pride and joy draft pick, we got it. sit back and enjoy the ride. i'll put it this way, i got a lot more courage now than i did a week ago for next season. i can't wait to see how this unfolds for us.

Softball interview. You don't hire someone the stature of Mats Sundin unless he is the face of the Toronto Maple Leafs. We don't even know if this is only a short-term "adventure" for Mats or is he staying until the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup? Everything remains to be seen though.
Mats is an expert at talking without saying anything, and Chayka is little different. I guess we'll have to wait to see their moves. They better not F up and trade the 1st overall or talk themselves out of taking McKenna.
