  1. Wait. You’re allowed the enter the zone with speed?!

  2. I don’t know what it was, but when they went down 0-3 in Game 7 I was oddly unbothered. It just felt like some crazy shit was about to happen

The last playoff game I attended!!! Lost my voice chanting LGF with all you wild MF’ers!!!!! Practically floated all the way home, not knowing the crazy time that still awaited any of us who attended the watch party at the stadium for game 7!

What a team we had that year! I really thought that was our year. That Kane goal in OT stole all of my joy immediately.

I genuinely miss watching Gagne and Kimmo

  10. Multiple players in that team could have been Captain, but Mike Richards was really great at it.

I was there for that game with my brother. What a game. On the walkout we had to keep some idiot young Bruins fan from himself. He was mouthing off at drunk fans after that game, people wanted his head, his poor flyers fan girlfriend (hopefully she dumped his ass.) like we had to stand in front of people and tell them to go home they don’t want to be in jail.

That Briere goal was as loud as I heard the place!

My oldest was born this day (happy birthday son!). He was born late in the evening after a 36hr labor. After doing the thing where I finally get to wander down the hall to announce to the grandparents that the baby is finally here, my dad says « Did you hear anything about the Flyers game and do you want to know? » That was all I needed to hear.

Riddle Hospital in Delco sent me home around midnight for « the last good night of sleep you’ll get for months ». I was buzzing with emotions. I watched the replay of this Flyers game late into the night and was back at the hospital by 6am for my first full day as a dad.
