Great jersey. I’d say yes. Looks authentic and identical to my original
Why anyone would make a knockoff of that trash is beyond me
It is authentic. You that inside strap of RBK going around the back of the neck? Thats the giveaway.
Also, its too good of quality. Nice jersey.
The jersey itself seems ok at first glance, but the anniversary patch seems a little off. The lettering used for the Gagner nameplate is definitely not accurate to what the Oilers actually used at that time. I would say avoid this one.
The patch could be a fake off ebay or something, though.
No it isn’t. Reebok made those jerseys not CCM. And that’s for starters. The back strap is cool but that’s only put on unauthorized replicas, and the letters on the nameplate are too bold. Authentic jerseys would also have the Reebok symbol on the left sleeve cuff. It’s a neat jersey but sadly it’s not authentic.
The letters look janky and too thick
It’s a decent fake at first glance, but it’s definitely a fake.
The RBK neckline looks poorly stitched and inconsistent.
The “continuous” stitching threads through the patch is the biggest giveaway. Each element of an authentic patch will be independent and won’t have those stray threads connecting them.
The “Gagner” lettering on the back is way too thick and doesn’t match anything worn by the team ever, and the light bubbling look in the numbers also point to them being fake.
Honestly you can post this and ask in r/hockeyjerseys but they’ll tell you the exact same thing.
Fake look at the “fight strap”
I mean there’s one gigantic giveaway that anyone should be able to see. This literally says CCM on the tag when it’s got Reebok written elsewhere lmao.
I have a couple knock off jerseys that have that exact tag. Pretty sure they all say 54 also, I think they print them in bulk to stitch in the knockoffs, been re-using them for years.
Made In Canada was the first tell for me sadly. My real Jersey is made in China and my fake Jersey, while also definitely made in China, says made in Canada on the tag.
The fakiest fakes of all fakes
