  1. Meanwhile they think the Leafs are better this year than last season. Checks out.

  2. The issue was that the team wasn't winning the games they were supposed to win. When you get more wins against a playoff team vs a non-playoff team, shows that the team wasn't playing hard enough in many small games. They didn't even get a single point against Arizona, Anaheim, Chicago, Islanders, San Josee and Vegas that didn't make it to the playoffs. LA, Nashville and Rangers were the only teams that they didn't get a single point against for the ones that did. 6 OT or SO loss to playoff teams vs 1 to a non-playoff team.

Hopefully they'll be in control of the puck a lot more and score more goals. The young defense is getting older and have learned a bit more and will play better. New netminder might help keep the puck out. Big thing will be for they to stay healthy. No guarantees, but the Sens were one of the teams that had to cancel games to a COVID outbreak, lost 2 centers right off the start. Shows in their November numbers were they went 1-10-1 and then March where they went 4-10-1. If the Sens are a bit more consistent and turn it to their third worse month that was February with a 5-6-1, that is an easy 16 points more. 16 points the other teams won't have. You add a few more goals that Giroux and DeBrincat would add and you are looking at a 7-3-1 months.

A good D would be great, but I'm sure Ottawa will manage without getting more and still make the playoffs.

  3. You already know O’Neill hates that the sens are getting good

  4. You can check the Josh Norris box ! 8 more years baby ! Jake Sanderson ( 5th overall ) coming to a Blue line near you !
