Not so fast, Debrusk! Moving him on after a strong season can snag a bigger return, and it's only a matter of time until he's complaining again. Out with the Debrusk and in with the someone else!
I like Jake's play, not great, but surely well enough. Second or third line is fine. When he is hot, he is SHAZAM! When he is cold, then he seems like he isn't even out there. If Bruce C wanted to even Jake out a bit, then that seemed fine with me. Calling players out in public should not be taboo, but then again any player should be able to puck it up, take it, and move along. Of course fans do not know all the nitty-gritties about behind the scenes, but I believe Jake has much more to show toward his +/- stats. Let's go Jake, turn the page, we are cheering for you, and build on some zest!
