  1. 42 minute video. I watched the whole thing, like I have with all the other history videos. Now time to watch the video on my Caps. 👍

  2. Do a video or two on the best players currently playing or retired to never lift the cup. please

  3. Friendly suggestion: Say in your next video you will refer to .500 by W-L instead of points percentage. I don't like the OTL system, either, but this is a clear way to avoid it (except once a team with fewer wins gets a better seed, but wait until March for that).

Your physical toll argument is one I've made about Backes. I would be downright shocked if he lasted the length of his contract.

  4. Granted, I root for Vancouver, but I've always thought highly of the Sedins, even before I really started cheering them in 2009.

  5. Great video on the canucks wish you did this in-depth history for the other teams as well

  6. I'm a big time canucks fan. The one thing I can't put my finger on is the change in energy from game 3 2011 finals till now where there's a certain gray cloud. What's your view?

  7. Also I remember watching game 1 when Bergeron scored the first goal I just hung my head and knew we missed an opportunity of opportunities because I don't know when we'll have that chance to lift the cup. Still heartbreaking.

  8. This is my favorite video of yours. Come back to it every now and then. You truly captured the feel of being a Canucks fan here.

  9. I used to love that red stink in rink jersey, but it's so connected to the post '94 team and failure that I can't do it anymore.

  10. The problem with the Sedins is that nobody could find them a true, elite winger to play with. All due respect to Anson Carter and Alex Burrows, but they're never were elite players – they were carried by their linemates.

  11. Totally agree with the Sedins being mistreated and unappreciated. Henrik does have two career playoff overtime goals.

As for Luongo, he could not win the big game. Couldn't steal a couple of wins on enemy ice like the way "Captain" Kirk McLean did in '94 vs Calgary in Game 7 and Game 1 of the finals at MSG. Great goalie win on the road and great goalies win Vezina Trophies. Luongo never won a single Vezina.

  12. As an Avs fan- I can confirm that the West Coast Express was really good at its peak, 2003-04 was the first time the Avs didn't win the Division since moving to Denver… The whole ugly Moore/Nasland and Bertuzzi/Moore incident really destroyed the WCE. Sorry…. The Avs have never had (nor will ever have) a "Steve Moore Night" if it's any consolation lol…

  13. Hi Shannon. Long suffering Canucks Fan Card carrying member here.
    1) Thank you for the excellent, balanced, content.
    2) Much respect for your unvarnished opinions which reflect the same views that my buddies and I share when we collectively lament the current state of not only the Canucks, but the Canadian teams in general.

  14. Yep, I am an Oilers fan, he is right, I never respected the Canucks, I absolutely did not respect the Sedins or Luongo. Luongo was a head case in the playoffs, a team can not win a Stanley cup with the Sedins. The history of the Canucks is terrible, they are a miserable team to be a fan of. Will the Canucks ever win a Stanley Cup…NO!

  15. You spoke about a number one d man, enter Quinn Hughes. Time will prove that he is the best d man drafted in 2018. Yes, he will be better then Dahlin. So with EP40, Bo, Brock and Demko, I think the Canucks will win the cup in the next 10 years. If Benning doesn't trade them. Cheers

  16. I liked the video. Make a new one with the young core we have now. Will Hughes be the coveted number 1 dman?

  17. Lafayette hit the crossbar, Gelinas hit the right post on a pass from Ronning previous to that. The rebound sat right in the crease but it was cleared by Brian Leetch. Those two go in, we've got the cup. I liked the red jersey too, I don't know if I ever had it in my collection, I don't think I ever did.

  18. I wonder what ur opinion about captains for Vancouver. In my opinion there hasn't been a real captain for Vancouver since Linden. How do u feel about this being a Vancouver fan. And I know that I'm entitled my own opinion but I wanna hear yours. And being that this is an older video i dont expect an answer. But i like your channel keep up the good work.

  19. Hate that saying of ''they pull a fast one'' with BureAnd might come with a curse It's more like did their homework

  21. The current team is likely the most complete team we’ve ever had. Number one center…check. Number one goalie…check. Number one Dman…sure looks like CHECK. Team depth in scoring…check. Team depth on defense…uh, well, not really. But with the forward depth, we may finally have the pieces in place to acquire the defensive depth.
