I swear, video quality just naturally degrades over time because for anyone who actually watched this series, you'd remember that the quality was a lot more crisp and clear. If a person who had never watched this series, had no knowledge of the outcome or on what date it occurred, they could guess late 80s/early 90s and they wouldn't be wrong in their assumption.
Every since the Montreal Canadiens won the cup in 1993:
Vancouver failed in 1994.
Calgary failed in 2004.
Edmonton failed in 2006.
Ottawa failed in 2007.
Vancouver failed again in 2011.
And Montreal failed in 2021.
