    If this the Flames 3rd Adidas & Calgary are being lazy i understand Fans liked the Reverse Retro Jersey. they should have took elements of both the original third 3rd & RR to come up with something a little different. Maybe under yellow stripe on the Waist and Sleeves have black clear Flames coming up to the yellow stripe . Or could this be a proto type for the new 3rd. Nashville Predators before they added yellow to Jerseys. where originally going to go with Blue & White Jersey as the home and made a White Road Jersey only a handful was made they where leaked. The Blue White Jersey i am talking about was the 3rd from 2009 – 2011 it was reported the Preds where going to get new Jerseys . I forget where i saw pictures of it i think it was giving to select season ticket holders then scrapped for 2012 – 2013 season .

    I got the reverse retro Blasty Jersey from the flames online store and it has all the same beveled edges minus red within the flames from the nostril’s. Blasty is my fav but wont buy this one if it’s released. I question how noticeable the flames at the bottom of the sleeves are when players wear gloves.

    Since I’m hoping for a return for the screaming eagle red caps jersey, I hope they just let teams reuse it and mod it slightly. The limited edition jerseys are stupid and a cash grab.

    I wouldn't call this walking back on their word. I see it as the Flames saying we liked that jersey so much we want it in our jersey line up. Adidas isn't walking back in this way. They aren't making them again and they only are making this one again because the Flames are bringing it back into the permanent fold. Adidas never said they couldn't come back as Alternates if the team wants to. I love the decision to bring it back as an alternate.

    A bit annoyed as I was proud to have the Colorado/Nordiques reverse retro. If they did it brings it's rarity down to none.

    I think they should have made a bigger change in the jersey. Maybe have those flames be red or yellow, and maybe change the font style. It feels too close to the original reverse retro to release it to the public like that.

    I have a Blasty RR and i’m not sure if i’ll buy this one if it does become the alternate. The flames on the sleeves are pretty cool but a little weird too and the logo does look better, but i’m with you 100% Neil that it kind of makes me mad that adidas has gone against their word about the RR only being a limited run. So if teams make some little minor change to the jersey it’s “technically” not the RR. Even though it basically is..yeah i’m not too happy about the fact some fans even bought a RR that has been at a much higher price from individual sellers because they were sold out at the retail level.

    Now, we did hear rumors or talk that some teams could or thought about using their RR as alternates or maybe even primary jerseys. However I think those rumors & talk came from fans because I don’t recall (maybe i’m wrong?) anyone working for any of the 31 teams at the time ever having made those comments. Should’ve just done a white version of Blasty!!

    Okay this is for my USA people Fan Cave Sports is doing a Moving sale and there is a Kraken Jersey and a RR Blues Jersey on there. The Kraken Jersey is a Size 52 and the RR Blues Jersey is Suzes 44 and 46 they might have a 50 on there as well

    Neil there's also been Reverse Retro leaks via the NHL Shop. There are shirts for sale with the 90's Jets logo in modern colors, Mighty Ducks logo in orange, Edmonton oil drop shirt in blue/orange, and a Flames shirt which looks to be the black version of their 90's jersey.

    I disagree that Adidas look bad from this. How is Adidas in charge of the teams choices on what they want as their alternate? They aren’t. They make what the team wants. The teams themselves decide what the designs for reverse retro, or alternate jerseys are.

    I think this is my theory about the Adidas logo:

    They could be seen on the next season's jerseys. The new logo will be only seen in the RR, just like in football/soccer where the new logo is just present on the World Cup jerseys.

    It’s possible that the Flames organization received enough calls, texts, and emails from their fans to bring back Blasty as a full-fledged alternate jersey and CGY and adidas worked to get around the “limited run” aspect of the original RR program. That being said, they could’ve also brought back the original “Blasty Alternate” complete with the ends of the sleeves and bottom of the jersey done in red instead of the black that was on the RR.

    The choice to go to Blasty as a 3rd was not the choice of adidas, it was the Flames. This one has nothing to do with the RR one. This is adidas saying "if you're really a collector, you'll buy both versions". They're not making any more of the first RR's, which is what you said Neil. That's why the 2nd run is coming this year. This is the Flames listening to feedback from their fans saying that Blasty was a hit and they want him back.

    Im disappointed but not suprised. The NHL also said that ads on the helmets were a 1 year thing for added revenue and now its a full time thing. Regardless of how you feel about the ads on helmets and jerseys, they went back on what they said, its par for the courae

    THIS IS NOT THE NEW REVERSE RETRO JERSEY! I read on the exact same twitter post that said this is a leaked Flames 3rd/alternate jersey. NOT a reverse retro. I’ve seen all over twitter of a possible Calgary Flames Pedestal jersey coming back for the new RR.20
