1. I was anticipating him going to the ducks so I wanted Wallsted since I don’t think we needed to draft another defensemen. But him dropping to 7 was an absolute gift. I cannot wait to see him and Ozzy tear it up.

  2. Ek Yeah!!! Let's goooo I'm a proud sharks fan and Swede right now. Our prospect pool is looking brighter and brighter, Let's Gooooooo!!!!!

  3. Thank you for the content but I have a feeling that Doug Wilson is going to ruin William even before he can make a mark in the NHL

  4. Whatever happened to that Ozzy dude? Also nice intro Nick haha

  5. You got one of the best players Sweden have produced 🇸🇪🇺🇸 Best regards from Sweden

  6. I think we have some prospects that in 2/3 years will look amazing. Eklund instantly becomes our best prospect and will be an elite 1st line winger, and then we have Bordeleau, Ozzy, Robins, and Guschin that all look like they could be good 2nd liners, as well as Merkley (whose advanced stats suggest he should have had a more productive season) and Kniazhev who look like superb mobile, modern-day defenseman. I like our prospect pool a lot, and if we get a high pick next year, I think we’ll be very well off

  7. The draft favors big North American prospects. I feel like if Eklund was a 6’2” Canadian he’d have been #1 overall. Love his vision and shiftiness with the puck. Can’t wait to see him in San Jose. Looks like he makes the players around him better too.

  8. With this last year plus and the lack of overall development I would love it if the Sharks leave Eklund in Sweden. At least for the next year. Then leave him on the Cuda for a season to get used to NA hockey. SJS are not ready to make a PO push anytime soon do let this kid ripen properly. We need another Hertl not another Meier.

  9. First time ive watched you man. From a wings fan, youre pretty great lol.

Eklund is a stud. Good pickup.
