  1. Well the Canes kicked ass last night and their good play is a big reason for the Rangers poor play. Still they have a chance. Win or lose, though, it’s been the best season NY has had in a long time. It’s been fun and at least they knocked the Pens out.

  2. I love Turk but got to stop making excuses for Kreider and especially Panarin; sure there’s not much room out there but difference between good players and ELITE players is that the ELITE players create room that isn’t there. They force it. Panarin has not done that at any point in these playoffs. Also Strome has completely been invisible in these playoffs. Sure it would have been great of his goal counted last night but it was a weak goal. He has done nothing with his playmaking skills to open up the ice for Panarin nor has Panarin for Strome. Both have been awful on the defensive end especially on the back check. For Game 6 I would consider putting Panarin on the Mika line. This team needs more offensive pressure and it wouldn’t change their good defensive structure. It would also if productive give them some offensive confidence going into Carolina for a Game 7.

  3. This team is Jekyll and Hyde!! Think magic is gone!! Can't play this poorly and expect to continue winning!! Again Kreider invisible Panarin so bad its hard to watch!!

  4. You can't blame the coach for poor player performance. That just to easy. Calling them out in private yeah sure. Players have to be responsible for there own actions. I think Turk is playing this whole thing RIGHT ON! THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BREAK THEM DOWN!!! Encourage them … Keep the faith my blue blood brothers and sisters…I'M still very proud of them…LETS GO RANGERS!❤👍💪

  5. The Hurricane's where the favorite to win the cup this season. The NYRS are the underdog in this series. .I want to see the Rangers win, but if there's a gave 7 the home team usually wins. NYR'S IN 7.

  6. There's no consistent finishers on this team, nobody to step up and lead. but for your goalie this team would be teeing it up already. Enjoy the ride dreamers, it's about to end!

  7. The Rangers beat the Penguins and are pushing the Canes to a game 6 at MSG which is good. However what these games have shown are aspects to the Rangers play and coaching that are disturbing. How many times have we seen players not putting effort to back check and pick up players in the defensive zone and allowing high danger chances with no Ranger to be seen. And why were Rangers continually penned in their own zone last night with no answer to correct. The Canes kept sending it in, pinching their defenseman and the Rangers had no strategy or will to make an adjustment to counteract this. It almost looked like a scene from Groundhog Day!
Also the Canes were allowed to skate in the Ranger offensive zone with no resistance or pushback.

And the indifferent play by Artemi Panarin in these playoffs is alarmingly. Panarin can be dynamic with his offensive skills but too many times he shows no respect to the team with his lazy unwillingly attitude towards defense and back checking. In the playoffs time and space are usually diminished. If Panarin can't adjust his play to compete more in the dirty areas of ice he will be useless. If he can't adjust his play in the playoffs then the Rangers should seriously consider moving him in the off-season.

  8. Gallant is a class act. If he can get this team to produce solid performances, he can stay in NY as long as he wants. There is lots of potential in this team for the coming years.

  9. These ranger presser events are just absolutely cringe worthy to watch. With the local media and beat clowns all posing the same embarrassingly stupid and predictable questions and comments. Must be the absolute worse part of a coach's job! Anyway Cadets…3-1 Canes tonight!

  10. This is a sad team.. here on the the backs of their goalie..
Too bad they don't have Sammy Blais otherwise it would be Oilers vs Rangers Stanley Cup tomorrow

  11. It's a weird thing; I don't follow hockey in the regular season and don't have a rooting interest in any one team, but I'm addicted to playoff hockey. There's just something about the intensity of these games that's like nothing else.
