As for the seating issue, they refuseed to sell tickets outside of their fan base area. That was why their was empty seats.
I asked the Preds fans about the attendance thing, on the "Locked On Predators" YouTube channel, and I got a response from one of the hosts and this is what they said:
Ann Kimmel – "Saturday wasn't typical for a Preds game. The VP was in town speaking at a college graduation so some roads were closed down and then there was an issue with the ticket scanners, so when the game started many people were still outside waiting to get in. (And then folks left a little early because y'all were beating us 7-3…) Preds have had great attendance this season for the most part but Sat. was a mess!"
Fellow Preds Fan – "I was in line for 35mins it was ridiculous. But also. The fans abandoned the preds."
Make of this what you will, but I to was under the impression the the Nashville Stadium was always full.

Edit: I gotta say, if Conor Ingram can do what he did in game 2, he’ll be a vezina finalist in a couple years. He was the reason why it went to OT. And I didn’t know you filmed the video and then released it a few days later.
You wouldn’t have been able to get a ticket. Ticket sales were banned to anyone outside of the Nashville televised area. Likely why there was empty seats

Okay, so this series SUCKED. Saros playing wouldn’t have changed the final outcome, but the series would have been much closer. Forsberg and Josi not stepping up was odd, but Yakov Trennin was on point. Nashville wasn’t made to play Colorado, or any other awesome offensive team. Hynes is okay for at least one more year, but they need to get some better defenseman depth going into next season.

CO fan here, I don’t mind the rest at all. If they lose the next series, it won’t be because of the rest. Last year they came into round 2 rested and exploded to a 2-0 start. It was in-game adjustments later on where they failed. I’m not gonna make any assumptions until the cup is in their hands but it’s hard not to get my hopes up; this team feels different
We (Nashville) had no business being in the playoffs this year in the first place I think. All thise losses coming in kinda gave me a weird feeling right from the start of this series. Also as far as the fans and empty seats go: it was definitely a fair-weather fan kind of vibe. We got tickets 5 rows from the glass for 80 dollars for game 3 so that shows there really wasn't an interest at that point

Had Saros been playing, it would not have made a difference. There's only so much Ingram could do. Colorado was just relentless in their attack, and were clearly the much better team.
I would actually agree with Nashville looking tired. One game in Colorado not sure which period it was but the Preds plays actually just stop moving I'm not sure if it was a change or TV timeout or a penalty. That had me scratching my head for a minute. Some of the Pred players looked disinterested in the game. Not the same preds team I remembered from 2018. Neil I'm with you I would love to see a little more competition. Empty seats Yup. I noticed fans even had the Avs goalie name wrong when tauting about a goal. It was Kuemper he left because Johansen and his crazy stick. The Makar incident was totally unnecessary. Preds fans throwing skittles at Makar. Bad move on possibly hurting players. Yes it was only a few but Skittles was followed by towels.
It was clear all series long that these two teams aren’t on the same level. The Avs showed it every single game.
Preds need to get rid of the coach and the GM, Whatever Poile has been doing since 2017 is no longer working

Love the team, appreciate their physical and gritty style, Josi (great captain), Saros, Jeannot, Duchene- Rinne and Arvidsson when they were there- and this series put Ingram on my radar, so I'll be watching him/backing him from now on. They have a good bunch over there. Hopefully they stay relevant for a while. Rest up, boys. ✊

Yes game 2 went into OT, no one that watched the game really thought Nashville was going to win that game.

Ava are dangerous. I still think I am predicting a team in the east wins the Cup because having to fight harder may make them more battle tested and the west is overall a bit weaker this year. I can definitely see Colorado winning, however!
I think Poile has been the general manager for far too long and has been making dumb moves as of late. Including of course hiring Hynes as head coach. Hynes!!!!!!! Top down change needed in my opinion!!! Let’s Go Predators!!!!!!!

Not a Nashville fan but live in the surrounding area. Was looking at going to a game but the hotel prices were absoluetly ridiculous. (400+/night for crap motel)
Many of the best players on the Avs were left on scratch at the end of the regular season. Look how well they did this series after a good long rest. The Avs with extra rest will be on point next round. Only one time during all four games were the Preds leading the score. Can’t wait to see who we face for round two.

Avs fan, preds took 3 of 4 during the regular season, bednar chose health over rest for his team over the last 2 weeks. Avs came out flying and the preds didn't have a chance. The closest game had 49ish shots on net from the avs in a 2-1 win. Health is great for the avs and they are determined this year.
Makar is the real difference from previous teams. This feels like the year. Its just different than the past second year flameouts. I hope I dont eat these words

As a preds fan I say we need to get on the same page to get everything all together especially at net cause Dave disappointed us in the first game of the series and Connor he played good for how much he been in net as a pred and I look forward to see how they fix the backup goalie situation
Ingram nearly stole Game 2 for them. Kid definitely has a bright future in this league.

I’m not the biggest hockey fan but the defense just couldn’t get the puck out of their own zone. There were too many games where they got really outshot, Saros would be better but Connor Ingram did great to have won game 2. But the skating was bad and the Avs didn’t get pressure and it was nothing but target practice. I just hope Foresberg stays but at the same time they just need to do better, 3 great scorers, some rookies actually being big contributors and Ryan Johansen actually doing something at one point should have been better. Next time beat the Coyotes in a much needed game that was 80% a gimme. Don’t keep John Hynes.
