I wouldn't count my hometown boy Murray out like everyone is suggesting . Why can't you say a sweet one -;two punch in net. The boys know and deffinetly feel the pressure. Toronto is a pressure cooker of a place to play so let's get behind them both and keep the pressure low key .

Not a leafs fan but here's mine
1. Matthew's scores 60 but doesn't win the Rocket 2. Murray loses the staring goalie position before the end of November 3. Marner hits 110 points 4. Leafs win presidents trophy 5. Finally win a playoff series (vs Florida)

Here is a prediction…. They wont get out of the first round , and finally Dubas gets fired so then they can break up that weak core and finally win something meaningful. Finally stop doing crack before you do vids, the president’s trophy LOL yea ok , .900 SP and you think they will be the best reg season team in the league
Strongly agree with your commenet about Tavares. I dont think people understand how devastating that hit was, nor do they understand what a recovery horizon can look like for a head injury. I thought Tavares continued to be strong defensively last year and he is always a beast in the face-off circle. I just thought his engine was not firing offensively and I attribute that to his head injury. He's been healthy this entire off season, though. I'm disappointed that Nylander is still around, but given that he is, he's got the offensive skills to complement a JT when he is on his game. Maybe Nic Robertson can add to that as well or maybe Tavares /Nylander.can elevate Robertson's game. There is no great year for the Leafs without a resurgent JT leading the 2nd line. I predicted his down season last year and believe we'll see the old JT this season.

2. Matthews is on pace for 70 goals but gets injured before the playoffs and misses the first 2 games of Round 1
3. Leafs are out in 1st round again
4. Dubas and Keefe are fired
5. Goaltending situation goes the way of the Oilers last season (not good)
One prediction: they’ll choke, due to goaltending, defense…my boys M&M will not come up big when it matters most.
I'll predict Dubas will trade Nylander because of goaltending issues
I know I'm late but this is interesting predictions. Especially the 5th one. If we can make the playoffs this year and that's a big if. I honestly think we will make it past the 1st round
