    If the wild play like they have the last 10 (especially at the Xcel) they will be easily up in the series 2-0. Home ice advantage is way more important than people think

    Actually we are 0-1-2 lost two games in ot on 3 vs 3. We are better in 5 vs 5 situations

    All accurate but your forgetting this is a Minnesota team. Most likely will be a heartbreaking first round series loss for a hopeful fan base. (Coming from a MN fan).

    Idk a single FAN of either team that thinks their team is definitely winning this series. the winner of this one is going to have HUGE Momentum going to to round 2. I’m calling it right now. Whoever wins this series is going to the finals.

    Take away the last 2 games and stl was 14-0-2. STL was just as hot as MIN

    I think special teams is a huge factor.

    Defense really steps up in the playoffs but the blues top 9 will wear down the wild in this series. Best forward group in the chel…

    You didn’t cover how much depth St.Louis has. They have 6 players with 20+ Goals this season. St.Louis is the better team and they have more depth but the reason they are looked down upon is because of the goaltending. If St.Louis had better goaltending they could go all the way to the stanley cup with the depth they have. Almost all stats favor St. Louis

    Don’t forget the Blues had a pretty solid post deadline stretch too, 15 or 16 straight games with a point. Definitely going to be a great series and I can’t wait!

    I don’t understand how you can bring up how hot the Wild are and not how hot the Blues are. Blues got points in 16 of their last 18, most of them were wins.

    Do goalie tandems ever work to win in the playoffs??
    Husso has been very good, it’s the Blues D that is a tad in the weak side. I think the O’reilly line shuts down Karisov. Blues in 6.

    Wild have only won 1 time in the past 14 games vs St. Louis. Blues will win series for sure. Way more experience, substantially better special teams, and more disciplined.

    I almost picked Minnesota vs Florida for my finals (Florida wins cup), but then I looked at something. Minnesota played the Blues 5 times this year – twice in preseason and 3 times in regular season. Minnesota's only win was a preseason overtime. Two of the losses were overtime, and the third was a 4-6 game. Not bad by any standard, but it was a consideration for if the Blues have their number. Two of the games were in April (8 and 16), so the recent games included trade acquisitions, though there were some injured guys who returned.

    It'll be a good race either way, but I think St. Louis might be prepared for the Wild.

    "Since the trade deadline Minnesota has been unbelievable." The blues record since the deadline is nothing to scoff at either. Also, I think a notable for the Blues should be the depth. 9 players with 20 points is pretty notable.

    Considering our head to head history it really is too bad we'll likely be looking at this same first round match up for the next 3 seasons or so… this playoff format is ridiculous how do you finish 2nd in the conference and end up with the toughest road to the finals?

    So I think binner is playing well but I love ville but he did not do great game 2-3 but I think it’s playoff gitters
