  1. Should do a weekly segment "was Vejmelka's save percentage stupidly good or outrageously bad"

  2. 5:18 Random Mexican hockey anecdote: The Hlinka Gretzky Cup began in the early 90's as the Pacific Cup and was hosted by Japan in the beginning. In 1994 it was hosted by Mexico City. Somebody posted the 1995 NHL Draft on YouTube and it was amusing to hear the commentators describe a couple prospects like "He looked great in Mexico" without a trace of irony or sarcasm.

  3. The sad thing is that they’ll finish last and not get Shane Wright bc their market doesn’t make enough for the nhl to justify giving them the #1 pick

  4. From this Coyotes fan's perspective, we knew the team would be bad and we're OK with it. Some of those blowouts didn't always reflect how the team played (for example, the home opener vs STL where the Blues scored 5 in 5 minutes) and they held their own in a few games. Ultimately, there's a direction for the team that everyone is on board with instead of some half-assed thing which the Coyotes have done forever until now.

  5. Can you say SHANE WRIGHT also take a look at the names that are coming available on the free agent market. This maybe a great plan. Sucks for this year but imagine if they can get some of these guys like Fleury Giroux Subban

  6. Ofcourse, this is posted and they beat st louis lmao. This podcast is cursed 😭

  7. Coyotes should be giving any season ticket holders their money back. It's a scam, it really is. What a rip-off. Also, if you're a netminder on that team it's NHL career ending

  8. I want to see Arizona get the record. It will help greatly on their journey to Houston or Quebec City.

  9. It logically does not follow that the existence of Arizona as a bad team means the cap is useless. Parity does not mean every team will hover around .500.

  10. Kessel would be a great deadline addition. Toronto is already paying him so 50% retained would be easy. Kessel kampf kase and I just realized the nhl would never allow this line.

  11. yea, the Leafs would be the type of team to lose to the Coyotes lol

  12. If they are talking about an outdoor game in Mexico City why on earth have we not gotten an outdoor game in Florida???!

  13. I recall the Sens' inaugural season, which almost rivaled the Caps. 1 win on the road all season (and that win came right at the end of the season).

  14. As a leafs fan I would be worried if the leafs played them

  15. Actually, I think that's fantastic that they have no one signed for next year. They have a blank slate to rebuild and a tonne of picks. Both this upcoming draft and last year. Lot of teams are in cap hell. Yotes are poised well for trades and FA signings for teams looking for breathing room and guys looking for money contracts.

  16. I'm hoping they stay the course for another 4 yrs. They could be a dynasty for decades. If they can sign enough free agents to keep flipping for picks or prospects, they could fill their cupboards wildly. As this pool ages into legit players, surround them with free agent vets that get pushed out as they get surpassed by the up and comers.. if they are wealthy and don't care what the NHL says, they could use the ability of being a cap grave yard as an asset to gather picks and prospects from other teams. They could also farm prospects for other teams. I have wondered why teams don't form alliances and pool resources.

  17. About the horrible old Leafs jerseys – I remember talking about how bad they looked on a fan site a few years before the change happened, and was told I wasn’t a true fan LOL

  18. We thought ottawa or I did think they were building the right way turns out they are not no leadership wow am I so wrong

  19. 1 month later and they now have 7 wins, and are only 1 point behind the habs. Goal diff of -56 and only -6 below the habs.
