My cousin was a big Avalanche fan ajd I looked up to him as a kid and it stuck with me. Never seen them actually win it but I was 7 when they won their second and 2 when they won the 1st. So I've been dying to see this! Proud of my Avalanche!
I’m glad Producer Drew remembers 96. I liked 97 and 98 better. I’m sure we both remember March 26 1997 fondly, but for different reasons. I miss the Forsberg/Yzerman era.

Look, you could argue the Oilers got better as the series progressed. Kinda. But the fact is they twice surrendered a 2-goal lead in this game 4 and you simply can’t do that against a team with depth like the Avs.
