Ottawa fans were complaining about Xhekaj again but after the shit Ottawa pulled last game, good for him. They call him dirty but Ottawa was DIRTY last game with their fourth line having the only goal to injure as many people as possible because that’s what they were trying to do.
I finally made my mind. Slaf should stay in NHL and Xhekaj too. If Slaf plays close to what he did today without PP time being one of the most impactfull players from MTL, he is Good to go. He is improving rapidly and with 2nd or 3rd line minutes and being 2nd line PP he can do a lot of Good things. And they can always send him to AHL if he start being meh.
what i would like to know for the sake of fantasy hockey is which d-man will be running this powerplay unit by next season and onward? guehle?? barron?? other?? thanks appreciate the input
xhekaj is showing some immense upside. if he can get 25~40 points this season, i think it'll be hard to ignore his absolutely elite upside. luckily, the things he's lacking in aren't genetic and can easily be taught
Slafkosky is definitely improving. I'm really impressed on the gradual progression , he is working hard and it shows. Bright future and yeah totally deserve the 9 games with the habs.
Dach is just so good. His puck control and how he uses his body. And he is only 21!!! Honestly I am loving this trade more and more.
Ghule has a guaranteed spot on the habs defense this year. I'm really excited about his future and his potential. I believe he can be one of the premier defenseman in the league
Xhekaj is a fan favorite, who doesn't love someone who is tough and willing to drop the gloves. He has skill and style. I think he still might split the season with the NHL and AHL but I see that as good thing.
Hoffman , let's just get rid of this guy. He just rubs me the wrong way. His mistakes are so careless.
Justin Barron , I know he has had a lackluster preseason but I still believe in his skill. He is a great skater. I think he too will split time with Ahl And NHL this year.
