    Remember when the defense moved the puck, especially when Torey Krug was here? Yeh that was cool. Sweeney wants the defense to move the puck but they did when Krug was here. Can't blame Cassidy. Butch saw a lot of losing players on the roster.

    Ideally, my plan for the D would be to somehow include Matt Grit-less and Stick- check Reilly in a deal. Depending on his recovery, Zboril might be ready to take one of their spots. I'm guessing Achan grabs the other although I'd rather a bigger, more rugged player.

    I think we have a reasonably smart enough core of defensemen to play man to man. The zone we played was effective at keeping the opposition on the outside but it's hard to watch as a fan. Hard to see your opponent in your zone for 1:30 straight even if they don't get much out of it.
    A healthy McAvoy and Lindholm are solid and move puck well.
    Carlo needs to get mean and use that size….hit people ffs.
    Griz needs to get back to the form where they were considering using him as powerplay quarterback. Otherwise his size is a liability, he gets pushed around in his own zone. Teams may want him enough to not try and screw us while we look for cap space. If they are willing to wait for his injury to heal LOL
    Hopefully Zboril is healthy and can stick around for long time…seems solid from what we got to see of him.
    Clifton seems to be progressing, needs to be given top 6 chance to earn a permanent spot.
    Forbert handy for PK mainly but him and Reilly are people to give for picks IMO.
    Try out Achan and some other prospect early till McAvoy and Griz healthy.
