Bennings free agent signings and trades are truly embarrassing.
i mean tanner pearsons contract isnt terrible 3m for a 40 point middle 6 guy isnr terrible, the only thing i see is if he plays soft or lazy often
dickinson was a disappointment this year as he was supposed to be this great defensive forward who gets the odd point
Keep tanner Pearson for Jason Dickson should be traded for a prospect or a player from a different team in the nhl
Something interesting is that Arizona is rebuilding and need to get to the floor. 100% he wouldn’t be mad to go back. Could toss in that 15th overall to take the contract?
sutters contract is finished now isnt it?
As a Stars fan, it's crazy to hear cannucks fans complain about $3.25 million for Pearson when we have to pay that for Faksa.
guys, if we all want to get rid of a player, why would another team want to trade for him? if not some assets attached or salary retained?
Worse sighed Jim Benning worse GM in club History should of kept markstrom Didn't sighed Pearson have capspace to sighed Markstrom
34 points last year averaging 14 minutes a game. might be a piece a contender might want to shore up their 4th line? dickinson they probably only get futures for.
Pearson is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED, we should keep him he’s 100% worth it
Please don’t send either of them to Edmonton, I’m begging you not to let Holland do that!
I'd keep Pearson trade boeser he's too slow doesn't throw hits, Petty throws more hits that him
If they trade him, they can’t keep putting him on the first line, which is automatically worth it
Lego… you said you expect 60-55 points out of a top 6 player. Only 71 forwards scored more than 60 points last year. There is 32 teams in the league, that makes 96 1st line players. 60 points would be a solidified 1st liner.
As for a 2nd line player there is 32 teams with 6 top 6 players, that's 192 players…. Pearson was 191st.
He was most definitely a 2nd line player on the canucks (let alone the fact that he was literally 6th in time on ice amongst Canucks forwards)
Pearson is a 3rd liner at best on a good team, the fact that he was on the first a lot this season shows how far we are from having a filled out roster. And that's with out talking about the blue line. We got Dickinson for 3rd, we're not going to better than that after this season. Get what you can and promote from the farm for the 4th line centre.
…Pearson…any relation…?
If you're trying to rationalize ANY of Benning's moves since he got to Vancouver, I honestly don't know what to tell you. If someone had a game plan to screw up a franchise for the now, and for the future, then I'd highly recommend the Benning-Weisbrod method. I don't blame new management for trying to garage sale many pieces that are here.
I feel like Pearson is much more valuable for the canucks considering he is physically and is a leader and can put 40+ points a year. But rutherford was the guy that traded pearson in the first of place so I am not surprised.
30 percent of pearson points wear done by empty net
Pearson for armia from Montreal straight across , almost identical contracts
hoglander for puljujarvi?
