Leafs fans – No
Fans of other 31 teams – Hell yeah 😆 🤣
NO!!!
As a Caps fan, be afraid whenever Samsonov goes out to play the puck…very afraid
Muzzin threw a major hit in the Montreal game…. that is worth having him… but we need to see more of it, and he needs a better partner
I have a feeling that management held on to Muzzin because he is the only D man they have who knows how to hit. Ok, but the guy plays like he is broken.
Leafs miss Hymen.
The Leafs play 2 games, 2 different goalies and 4 goals against that should never happen. Holl is proven he’s a full fledged AHL’er, Muzzin is done, Engvall will be lucky to get 15. Will these 2 goalies get Dubas fired? The sooner the better.
The title of the video in question is perfect although my answer to whether or not I am happy with the Maple Laughs’ performance through their first two non-preseason games since having lost their spring first-round playoff series is undoubtedly “no.“ I say why as I go along.
Have the Leafs, since the third game of that previous playoff series, ever had a lead at least two goals not counting preseason games? Not yet, although the Canucks, Oilers, Flames and Jets already have.
How many forwards have yet to put up a point for the Leafs since the preseason? Four (Aube-Kubel, Engvall, Aston-Reese and Kampf) still are pointless.
How many members of the existing roster have sub-0 plus-minuses? Nine (Rielly, Marner, Jarnkrok, Bunting, Brodie, Muzzin, Holl, Engvall and Kampf) still do although none below -2.
How many players have averaged at least a point per game? Only four (in reverse order from least to most, Marner, Nylander, Rielly and Tavares) so far have.
How many players have scored a goal? In order of most to least points, Tavares, Nylander, Jarnkrok, Bunting, Malgin and Matthews so far have.
How many players have scored two or more goals? None so far.
On average how many goals have the Leafs scored per game? Three, with only eight teams that I could count that had scored as of the conclusion of Friday’s games fewer on average per game but 9 if including a Blues’ squad that had yet to play a regular season game.
On average how many goals have the Leafs given up per game? Also three, with 11 teams having on average given up more goals per game.
As one can see, the stats on goals scored and given up per game haven’t been great although hopefully things will change for the better when the Leafs hit the ice just hours from now against the Senators.
Watch Holl is like watching a bunch of NHL dudes letting the road hockey buddy come out and play with them! Keefe thinking that Holl is better than any of the guys that they have sitting or injured are better players than him. Same goes for Engvall if you think he is better than Robertson you gotta be joking. If Keefe continues to play these guys not only is his job on the line but he's putting Dubas on the hot seat if he isn't already! Look at Keefe's interview after the Washington win. He was sweating like he just got off the bikes. Like he's that worried after a win what's being said behind closed doors there!
I would rather have 2 AHL goalies that are 24-28 years old that have 2 years of good play in the AHL on their resume. Goalies are voodoo and if you dont have a bonafide, spend the money everywhere else.
This team is going to be absolutely FINE. Nothing to see here! Steve said there's no help coming so let's GO!
