This is an easy one and the TV announcer said it, all goals are reviewable in the last minute – period. That has been in force for a long time and it was reviewed and decided upon by the situation room not the refs on the ice, the ref said so in his verdict announcement
As a leafs fan. Pretty much every single goal the leafs have scored this year has gone ‘under review’. Haters love it when it’s the Leafs, wait till it’s their team.

Just a question here. What exactly isn't reviewable apart from penalties not called? Everything I can think of are all reviewable: offside, puck touching the net protector, puck illegally kicked in, hand pass, high stick, goalie interference and probably more. It only seems fair to me that hand pass should be included with those ones. I know it must suck for leafs fan but that's the rule
I think this is a case of by the rules that they followed to a tea, it isn’t a goal. But the rule just doesn’t make sense in this senecio.
So by what the rules are right now, no they weren’t shafted. But the rule as it stands is a bit dumb.
The Leafs have played poor in atleast two games this season AND the reffing has been brutal in atleast 2 games this season. Both are 100% true.
