Design looks fantastic, so much better than the last one. Also re: Lebreton – there was a fire in the 40s, then it was rebuilt, then the NCC destroyed it again and left it bare for 70 years. Terrible mismanagement

I should mention as a construction person, the towers won't even be connected to the building. The picture was cherry-picked to show a mixed-use neighbourhood. From a different angle, you'd see they were across the street. Probably still CRAZY money for them.

Having watched some interviews with Wright I would say his personality doesn’t strike me as a leader of the locker room type. I’m an old rugby coach…I’ve seen first hand how much personality and leadership qualities go hand in hand.
Those who live in Kanata and have supported the team and it's affiliates are a little saddened by the notion of the team leaving Kanata. And in fact a touch irritated that people make the CTC sound like a bad place. It was/is the teams home for a long time imperfect as it is. Go Sens Go!
What if the building on tops a Hotel? and there's rooms that connect directly to box suites on the upper level? Kinda like the hotel at SkyDome? except better!

Don't forget the Canuckl-heads played in the PNE from 1945 thru to (Rogers Arena/GM Place says) 1995, but i distinctly remember Expo 86 having been used to build the sails, guess it wasn't used for hockey until '95, and the hockey players had to drive east Hastings (when the buildings weren't being used by Agriculture).
