Hilarious that two hours ago we were all terrified that #7 was going to be part of a dump with Murray. This trade looks great, but I’m actually a tiny bit bummed they traded #39 too. I was prepared for the #7 to go, but I was really hoping they could grab a gem like Ty Nelson with #39. Wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow Dorian packages the lightning 2nd with the Boston 3rd to move up to the middle of the 2nd round. This is best case scenario probably considering all the J. Andersen, T. Konecny, M. Murray, C. Keller etc. trade rumors we heard leading up to this.

Ironically the best save Matt Murray has made for the sens since he has been here was to turn down the buffalo trade that allowed this one to happen. It is scary that the first offer to the sabers would have destroyed the pick. The fact that he even tried it makes people shake their head. Its like when they signed Murray, del zotto, Zaitsev. Like WTH were you thinking. Have you seen them play n the last 3 years? It is like Dorion is bi-polar.
I'm happy for the sens as this seems to be an awesome trade. Now go out early on the 13th and sign Andrew Copp in free agency since he announced that he will be testing FA. Sign him for 5-6 years at least.

I thought Alex a little small but he can play either side so that really gives them options.Lets get that right shot top 4 defenceman.And the players they could move for a top line Big physical center would help too.If Pierre looks at his prospect pool he should be able to figure out whom is a core player and the players that aren't. They are one to two moves away from a real team.
